How to Bulk Up
So what is the best way to bulk up? Obviously you need to lift weights and hit the gym, but you also need to remember to stay in a routine along with fueling your body with proper nutrition Before you start lifting those heavy weights, it is extremely important that you understand how to bulk up and the importance of how to build muscle, how your body functions and the right kind of routine you should have to achieve what you are looking for.
Building your muscles can be, unfortunately, one of the more daunting challenges for the human body. However, if broken down into steps it will make it somewhat easier. We all know that by working out, you are going to build some muscle. However, just lifting weights and exercise by itself actually won’t build the muscle you are looking for. Instead, it actually breaks down your muscles. This then will cause a response from your body to repair it’s muscles. When repaired is when the fibers of your muscles will turn into more bulk.
Steps on How to Bulk Up
You really need to be committed. This is a priority. You need to commit yourself to lifting those weights. Learning how to bulk up goes hand in hand with lifting weights three to four times each week. You need to stimulate your muscles with resistance and then then will cause the needed response you need from your body. After you lift the weights, you then go home and heal. You do this with nutrition and with rest. Every 72 hours you should try and work out the upper body and then rest, then 72 hours later, work with your lower body.
Nutrition is vital. you should try to eat 5 to 7 times per day and make sure the meals are balanced with the right amounts of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Learning how to bulk up with nutrition is important. Your carbohydrate intake should be about 45%, protein intake should be around 35% and round that off with 20% fat intake. Make sure that more than half of your food is solid meals and the rest can be with replacement shakes.
Stretching is also important. When you stretch you are helping to restore normal length to the tissue of your muscles. With constant training you will cause your tissues to shorten, so you need to stretch them prior to any kind of workout. So, if you happen to workout for 4 hours you need to add an additional extra 2 hours of stretching.
It’s important that you also make sure that you create for yourself a good routine and make sure that you stick with it. For example, your routine should include stretching, or a warm up period, the workout and then a cool down period.
Remember, learning how to bulk up is a combination of commitment to working out, rest and repair as well as a good routine and then providing your body with the proper nutrition.
