Essential Fatty Acids Help to Burn Body Fat
Our healthy quality will always reflect back upon the quality of food we eat. There are essential foods that we must have in order to be healthy. These essentials are not things that our bodies can make from other substances so we need to get them in their natural states from the different foods that we consume or through dietary supplements. Two of the most important essentials that our body needs to burn body fat are the Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids.
Not only do these two fatty acids help to burn body fat but they are essential in helping to avoid such degenerative conditions as heart disease, certain cancers, diabetes, PMS, osteoporosis, miscarriages, depression, arthritis and even schizophrenia. They also have been proven to have a direct link to nutritional deficiency as well.
Omega 3 fatty acids play a huge role in keeping our immune systems healthy as well as protecting us against all the pollutants we are bombarded with each and every day. They are also required for our brains normal development and in adults they are required to maintain our vision, brain, adrenal and nerve functions. They are also known to bring about a feeling of calmness in people as well and help our bodies to handle stress better. When we are less stressed out, it will help our bodies be able to burn body fat at a higher rate.
The metabolic rate in our bodies are also increases by fatty acids, helps our oxygen uptake and increases energy production in our bodies as well. This in turn then again is another reason why the fatty acids are able to burn body fat. Atheletes find that their muscles will recover faster after they’ve fatigued them with exercises.
The Omega 3 fatty acids are alpha linolenic acid or ALA, eicosapentaenoic acid or EPA, and docosahexaenoic acid or DHA. The food richest in Omega 2 fatty acids would be fish oils like cod liver oil for example. They can also be found in flax seed or linseed oil.
Omega 6 fatty acids is called LA or linoleic acid and can be found pretty much in most of your seed oils. These fatty acids not only help to burn body fat but they also are essential for the producing reproductive hormones, maintaining healthy skin and helping ot regulate your blood pressure.
